Since 1972, thousands of people—including leaders in many fields—have trained at Chozen-ji and experienced deep transformation. This is in keeping with Chozen-ji founder Tanouye Tenshin Roshi’s assertion that Chozen-ji exists to create leaders, and Omori Roshi’s description of one end of Zen training being the ability to serve others without concern for oneself.
